I think Urban was leaving before that 09 SECCG because of the Hernandez drive by cover up shooting.

No.

Tim wept, Urban saw him weep and that made Urban cry. When Tim saw Urban cry, Tim wept more and that caused Urban to feel sick. Urban's sickness wieghed heavy on Tim's heart and Urban's picked up on that and realised that someone had to go. Tim left and Saban kicked Urbans arse again. Urban went batshit. The truth is that it was not a blonde chick on the back of Petrino's Honda, it was Urban with a hair hat. Honest truff.

This is true, and since the BCS is about picking the two best teams, it should be Alabama against Alabama. That wouldn't be entirely fair, because Alabama would then deserve a rematch.

Maybe we should just cancel the BCS championship and have a split poll - Alabama wins the Coaches, and then Alabama would win the AP.

I don't understand why anyone is surprised at this. Finebaum has never made it a secret that he is biased toward Bama. Now he works for ESPN, which is going to fuel his bias for ratings. If he worked for a reputable sports news station that was worried more about reporting the sports news rather than manufacturing ratings, then I could understand why people would be surprised. But that just isn't the case and won't be as long as he can generate the same sort of controversy and/or ratings that they are looking for.

The bcs says nothing about 2 best teams. It only says #1 vs #2.

Bama rolls everyone on their schedule and nut drags the Bucks or whatever sacrificial lamb the BCS matches against them. Teams are going to be lobbying not to get invited to the Championship game to save themselves the embarrassment.

No one comes close to the Tide this year. Bama is going to break wills, bones and spirits this year. I'm talking PTSD-level arse kickings.

Bama fans trying to talk opponents up so this season will be halfway interesting. Bama rolls over everyone and wins the last BCS title as an undefeated champion.

I think Bama's D is gonna miss Milliner, Williams, Dial and Square more than people realize... Plus, they are baaaaaddddddd thin on the Oline... Couple pulls and tears away from being in a tight spot upfront... If they played LSU's schedule.....

Typical Gump, already setting up the excuses. If Bammers lose, then they just beat themselves, couldn't have been beaten... blah, blah, blah.

I do think we will beat TAMU. I have no clue about LSU. They just reload like we do. I have a lot of respect for their program unlike TAMU.

I actually love to watch and pull for bama unless they are playing us of course. I'm a savant fan and like to see his process at work. Don't think aTm comes within 2 tds of bama this year. JFF lost one of his best linemen, no proven receivers, and a very suspect defense spells trouble IMHO.

I know this is stupid put someone please explain Finebaum's logic to me. Bama lost to A&M at home and need a miracle drive to beat LSU.

He was just on ESPN and I, he said, "he doesnt see how any team could possibly be less than 10 point underdogs to BAMA in any game this season"

Square was a decent player but not a difference maker. Dial was just a rotational backup. And Williams was just a space eater. their d line shouldnt have much if any dropoff.
