(Posted this on the scoreboard but it was lost in the Les returning news and the board was locked)

No more speculation, at least for the regular season. Here they are. Seems like we had more total OOC losses than we usually do. Also, while the entire West got bowl eligible, 4 East teams finished 5-7 or worse

East:

1: Florida 10-2 (7-1)
2: Tennessee 8-4 (5-3)
3: Georgia 9-3 (5-3)
4: Vanderbilt 4-8 (2-6)
5: Kentucky 5-7 (2-6)
6: Missouri 5-7 (1-7)
7: South Carolina 3-9 (1-7)

West

1: Alabama 11-1 (7-1)
2: Ole Miss 9-3 (6-2)
3: Arkansas 7-5 (5-3)
4: LSU 8-3 (5-3)
5: Texas A&M 8-4 (4-4)
6: Mississippi State 8-4 (4-4)
7: Auburn 6-6 (2-6)

Judging by the preseason on the rant you'd assume Tennessee and Arkansas would be playing in ATL on Saturday.

I'm not surprised neither will be there

Both programs are progressing nicely, but the difference is that Arky loses a lot this offseason and UT doesn't. Our two players who were going to probably be our "biggest" losses after this year (Curt Maggitt and Pig Howard) both ended up not playing 90% of this year anyway. I certainly don't expect the Hogs to be a pushover next season, but they aren't set up nearly as favorably for a big run as we are (being in the East obviously helps )

Yea. We didn't talk a bunch of shite in the preseason.

You reap what you sow. I'd hope both of y'all's fan bases would learn their lesson but I'm sure tRant will be overrunning with Arky and UT fans that like to run their mouths during talking season

you're right man, we reap what we sow. I knew I should've been taking this whole internet forum thing more seriously. I definitely learned my lesson.

Posters that take this place this serious crack me up. It's an anonymous message board. Lighten up and don't cry so much. Perhaps you'll enjoy the place more.

We backed up our talking. Most of us were predicting finishing 2nd...

Guess what? We did.

Why bother with posting the East Divisions records, but hey the East improved from 0-4 against the ACC to 1-3 on the last weekend. Great comeback from the slight decline of 4-11 against the SEC West to 2-12 this year with one game pending

8-4 (5-3) and 2nd in the east was pretty much exactly the general consensus before the year. We hit it right on the nose. But in a way it is slightly worse because of what could've been. Still, this team is finally not shite again and it feels good to at least know that.

Embarrassing. The East is the worst division in college football

Judging by actual results, ou would assume that uSC had scrapped football as a competitive sport.

Lot of that has to do with matchups. A lot of the west doesn't deserve mention. The East is more top heavy but down year for the whole conference. Loota Jekyll andd Hyde teams.
