It's simple.
They didn't think Northwestern deserved to be ranked higher, but couldn't imagine leaving the overrated SEC-E trifecta out of the poll, so they just threw them all in together at the very bottom.

The interesting thing is that every one of those was a road game for Arkansas. So, we're 3-1 on the road against ranked SEC teams.

Too high:
TCU - Best win was a game in which they were getting blasted before the opposing QB and center were injured. Barely even a top 25 team statistically.
Iowa - No overly impressive wins all season. Completely outclassed by Stanford.
Oklahoma State - Only notable win all season was over a massively overrated TCU team. Why is this team ranked?
Florida - I suppose they do deserve some credit for the first half of the season but they were an awful team in the last few games.
Too low:
Arkansas
Tennessee
Mississippi
Western Kentucky
TCU - Best win was a game in which they were getting blasted before the opposing QB and center were injured. Barely even a top 25 team statistically.

I don't agree with Playoff teams dropping out off top 4. Just my opinion if you are going to have that platform.

It's no different then the BCS era, when BCS teams fell when they lost. I don't see the problem.

Florida won 10 games and lost 4. All 4 losses were to teams ranked 17th or higher.
