I don’t hate him. I think he transformed LSU. Then in leaving, set the CLM early years’ successes in motion. His body of work at Alabama is unmatched. Was. I’m sad for him as his career has entered its winter phase. I think he knows it.

I was grateful for what he did to turn LSU around from the dark ages. He should be credited with having built the foundation that made it fun to be an LSU fan again.
I never hated Saban, even though it sucks that he ended up at Bama of all schools. That being said, I wonder if Bama fans realize how lucky they are for having not one, but two elite coaches like Bryant and Saban.

1. Hate isn’t it ... Schadenfreude in my case
I want to see that BASTID suffer in his old age which is NOW ... And he’s suffering ...
The UNFAIR whimper was a classic ... Gus just got himself off the hot seat and got a huge boost at Auburn ... Old mofo is past it and you can see this if you’ve listened to the mofo over the years.
2. He’s a lying shiteshow weasel that cheats and lies and uses anything or anyone to get what he wants ... Mo Money
Selfless (like Oeaux) is for suckers is Saban Speak (but he’ll never say it)
I’ll bet he can finegal a nice raise out of his recent failures as a coach ... Just watch him
Worthless in the eyes of God, a win at all cost cheat, liar, and weasel ... that sums it up ...

I understood why he left LSU and wanted to see him succeed in the NFL.
I do hate that when he came back to college he went to Bama. I honestly believe that cost LSU 2 national titles and even more SEC championships.
But maybe now the cycle has turned.

No, Bama fans didn't realize Bryant coached at Alabama. We all thought, like lsu fans do, that Bama's winning tradition started when lsu let Saban come to Alabama.
Alabama fans don't realize that Gene "Stomp on Faces" Stallings, Wallace "Huge Balls" Wade and Frank "The Viper" Thomas and several other great coaches ever coached at Alabama.
Alabama fans didn't realize, that through Thomas, their team had a direct coaching tree lineage link to Knute Rockne and thus to Coach Paul Bryant.
We seriously thought that, just like 99% of lsu fans, football started just like a decade or so ago.

Don't know why some people would hate saban but it's funny to hear bama fans say he needs to be fired after the LSU loss and then again after the auburn loss. Lol that's 2 games in the regular season. Some bama fans are dumb
