It's the grass is greener complex mixed with potential and shoulda been.

Same thing as a man who says he could have been a doctor but is really a cell phone salesman at Wal Mart.

Actually, my favorite player used to be the 2nd string left tackle, but then Chris Capps graduated.

Seems like most Bama fans are in the Sims for QB camp.

I'm in the Sims camp - I remember all the Starr J fans seemed to disappear after his first pass against NTexas a couple of years ago. Both sides will know the deal before too long.

I'm kinda pulling for Sims as well. There's just something about McCarron that annoys me, but I will pull for whoever the coaches think gives us the best chance to win.

From what I've seen of both of them, Sims just seems to fit what the coaches want better. Less of a gunslinger, more of a check down cool headed decision making player. Just my observation, but I may be totally wrong.

I love his pocket presence. It's like a work of art.

That stupid tattoo was the final straw for me. After that, I was definitely in the Sims camp.

I try to overlook the off-the-field antics. Neither have pulled anything really dumb. But by watching drills, you have to think Phillip Sims is going to be a special QB one day. His motion just looks effortless. Throws a beautiful deep ball. Alabama hasn't seen this kind of arm talent in a long time.

I was in the Fanuzzi camp in '08.

I'd agree with this. I feel like he has the potential to make more mistakes early, but in the long run, he seems to be far more dynamic, especially if given the opportunity.

I'm not in any particular camp. The coaches will make the best decision. Whoever they want starting is who I want starting.

I actually have a barber pole tattooed on my dick. It looks like it's spinning as I'm getting an erection. True story.

AJ is kind of a douchebag. That's my main reason for hoping Sims wins the job. I just don't see AJ commanding the respect of the huddle and leading a team in crunch time.

But he's got arrogance, and that's sometimes a quality you want in your QB when times are tough.
