Or will you be calling for the staff to put in vice/versus?

Although I believe both of the these quarterbacks to be good and capable, they are both young and are going to make mistakes and have a bad day, or bad run, at some point. Unless it's just a complete fall apart, I imagine the staff will ride it out with whomever they deem the starter. Will you as well?

It's hard not to cheer for the guy on the bench at times, and I think it will be even harder this year knowing another quality QB will sitting there. But, I think we should stick behind the staff's decision and let these guys develop instead of throwing them to the wolves when they don't live up to par at times.

I will support both QBs... I just hope it doesn't turn into a "whose side are you on" thing between the players... and let's be honest... I hope it doesn't become a racial thing either.

If McCarron starts, there will be a lot of fans of the number 2 guy IMO. Seems like most Bama fans are in the Sims for QB camp.

I just don't understand why everyone and their mother who played a down of peewee thinks they are a better decision maker than the guy who's been hired to call the shots.

I have faith that even with a bad day, he'll play the person who he thinks is going to be the best, given all of the factors at play that we may or may not be privy to.

I'm sure that people like Bench McElroy, who are coaches IRL and know more than everyone else here will kindly start threads telling us otherwise, but frick them.

I'm pulling for Sims, but at the end of the day, I'll support whatever person that is standing behind center.

They'll have their mistakes, so I'm not gonna worry about it...

I'm not pulling for anyone, I want the best guy to play. However, at this point, I believe that very well may be Sims.

I will support them both, as long as they are putting forth their best effort. It's a game full of 18-22 year old kids. I refuse to boo them or call for their benching. I love to see them win, and I feel for them when they lose, but I have nothing personally invested in them, other than purchased tickets.

It really depends on the nature of the bad day. If it's a Jarrett Lee style bad day then you can bet your arse I'll be yelling at the TV about switching QBs. If it's just a lot of stupid mistakes that can be fixed with experience, then it's just something you have to deal with.

Often times overlooked. I agree with this 100%.

Whoever they pick to start, it's going to chap my arse if a bunch of rednecks start booing our team because mistakes are made. People make mistakes.

Nothing burns me up more than someone living vicariously through a young guy laying it all out for a football game.

The only starting QB that I haven't supported was Marc Guillon.

Every college football fan's favorite player will always be the second string quarterback. It's a phenomenon that I have never fully understood.

For some reason, that, more than anything, just gets under my skin. Nothing worse than seeing a bunch of stupid ignorant fools who probably have crimson colored team rooms and petrified meatloaf plates that Bear Bryant looked at when going through the cafeteria line booing about a guy who takes a sack.
