Every year for the past 6 years we've picked an away game to go to. This year we've decided on Fayetteville, the only SEC west venue we've yet to experience. I went to Little Rock two years ago- hated it. I go there often for work, that's probably why. What's there to know about Fayettville? Places to eat, drinking spots, places to avoid. Hope we don't lose by 20 and have to start looking for rooms in Birmingham.

Herman's and Pesto great food
Stay away from MLK and Weddington west of 49 after 1200 am if at all possible
Dickson is great bars
Possible issue is lighting of the Square Friday night but it's good family fun.

I doubt Doe's will be an option though if you don't want to wait. Unless you go to Bentonville. It's the same as in Greenville, MS.

Really? Think about that. You and I both know the FPD will have substations set up basically.

what do you have against Betty Jo Corner???

Yes, really? Wtf do you think goes on west of 49 or on MLK after midnight, besides drunk college kids getting fast food and being annoying?

You'll have a good time. Dickson St is right off campus, and should provide you with plenty of drinking establishments. Per other interests, the whole Fayetteville/Springdale/Rogers area will provide you with whatever you desire (stay away from Bottoms Up).
Enjoy your stay, and I hope you lose by 10

The MLK in Fayetteville is about as nice as an MLK gets.

is Club West still open? I remember being a freshman and using my brothers fake ID with ease there, it said I was 32

I hope you already have a room. If not, probably need to look towards Bentonville. Pack accordingly, Its going to be colder than Mississippi.
Dickson Street is the bar scene.
Lights of the Ozarks are lit up Friday night.
Hammontrees is a good light food spot. Awesome grilled cheese joint.
Doe's has a decent steak.
Bordino's is good stuff(dress a bit nicer, but no tie or anything)
Hugo's on the square is a good burger. Cool place thats underground
Catfish Hole out on Wedington is good. But you can get that stuff in Mississippi.
If looking for parking for the game. Its a bit of a walk, but park at Harps at the intersection of Wedington/Garland. A bit of a walk up hill going to stadium, but easy to navigate out after the game if you head back out to i-49 via Garland.

Yes, really.
West of I49 on Wedington heads to new subdivisions, fast food joints, Catfish Hole, Lake Wedington, IHOP, etc. Even hotels just west of I49. There is one street, Betty Jo that stupid people occupy.
West of I49 on MLK is Farmington and Prairie Grove.
Good lord.
Fayetteville isn't Memphis or Little Rock. Stop making it out to be. You can pretty much go any place in Fayetteville and be fine.

Little Rock SUCKS...NWA is where its at. Enjoy Dickson the night before. If you have time visit Crystal Bridges its truly world class. Lots to do and see in NWA.

A bald faced lie! I am told that there hasn't been an STD outbreak at Bottoms Up in at least a month, possibly two! Not the mention the EPA has completely lifted their quarantine. I think.

And with you being from Mississippi....There is a Cabela's in Rogers, about 15 minutes north of Fayetteville on I49.
If you go up that way, I really like Chuy's across the interstate from Cabela's. Pretty good Mexican joint.

There's more than one street but like I said stay away from it after midnight because of FPD.
