Lol at the Missouri players punking him on the next two plays.
WOW! The O-line owned his arse for the next two plays! Good for them.

lol, only took the desperate masses 15 minutes to come up with an angle to discredit the apology. such a sad existence they lead.

That's a 6'7" 298 lb. freshman.
We just need to develop his character and teach him a few fundamentals.
I think this was a great learning experience for him.

you nailed it there, IMO. If anyone can help a kid learn from this kind of issue, it's coach saban. proud to call him our head coach.

That's exactly what it looked like anyways. Just got excited and tried to take him down.
However, if you watch that film, he shouldn't have to face a suspension because the Mizzou players started "giving him the business" for the following 2 plays.
Helmet comes off and Mizzou OL starts punching him. I suspect his tackle was why no flag was thrown but I don't see why he should get punished on top of that.

The one thing I have learned since being on the SECr is that some Bama fans live in another reality.

Setting aside his mistake on the tackle, he should be commended for turning the other cheek to the retaliation and not letting the situation worsen and end up in a brawl.

Watch the 2nd play following the tackle. It's pretty obvious.

Well he's right. A thug would've tried to retaliate.

I think he strained his back and that's why he wasn't playing well. If so, he showed some grit by staying out there.

100% agree.
He should have to spend a few extra minutes with Scott and then turn his attention to Tyler Bray.

During the tackle his left toe gets planted in the turf and you can see it plainly overextend. I think he may have strained something in his ankle or at least sustained some sort of temporary trauma to it.

I think he just felt bad, so he let them retaliate. Not like a Mizzou pussy could actually hurt him.
