I've met tons of UGA players from the 90's. I met Kevin Willis and Tree Rollins in the Atlanta airport. I met Vladamir Geurro when he played for the Albany Polecats. Ryan Klesko stayed at my friend's plantation for Quails Unlimited. (Also met Norman Swartzkof that weekend) Stood on the sidelines with Charlie Ward watching Central play in the semifinals of the state playoffs. (My uncle coached the OL when he was at Central)

OJ, Nicole, Robert Kardasian and then wife Kris. Met them in the Denver airport and all decked out in fur coats. Nicole was damn fine!! Talked to OJ for 20 minutes and it felt like he and I were the only ones in the airport that day. Very personable guy.

Not SEC, but I attended a few events with Bobby Bowden back in the 90s. Even as an avid Gator fan, it was a pleasure spending that time with him.

Bobby Bowden and gene stallings with other players were doing a USO tour… Bobby was awesome. Talked and asked questions and then would tell about a game against your team. ( mine lsu). Gene looked at my lsu shirt with such disgust it was actually funny.

Was on a flight from Tokyo in the seat behind Nadia Comenici.
Bought a newspaper at an airport newsstand behind Willie Mays.
Checked into hotel next to Kevin Murray (Kyler’s dad).

The only one of these random meetings that I would describe as unpleasant was Merlins. We were both flying stand-by on a flight and he was being a complete douchebag trying to get him and his skanky looking wife bumped ahead of everyone else yet the gate workers didn’t know who he was.

Ken Griffey Jr came through the Wendy's drive thru I was working. So met him but this was pre me having a cellphone and didn't really have a camera. I gave him a free frosty though

Shame to hear that about Dean. I interacted with him several times at banquets and got my picture with him at a golf tournament once and he was always pleasant enough, but have also heard that he was kind of a reserved and aloof guy with the tendency to give people the cold shoulder.
