Facebook update on Sid

My wife is friends with a lady that is friends with Sid's mom. She posted tonight that Sid is going downhill today. Talking a lot about Heaven. They are still asking for prayers and struggling with the grief before he ever leaves this earth. Keep praying and hoping he makes it to at least November 6th.

I'd love to wax poetic about that man, his amazing son, or his poignant sharing in an utterly shattering life experience. But frick those two down votes. They should be sought out and fricking permabanned.

Anybody that has ever experienced a loved one their is a book that hospice gives you to read.
It's about the stages of death your family member will experience. It's a sad but very helpful experience.
I volunteered to be a supporter after my mother passed away and would love to help anyone that is going through this situation.

I think they are down voting the sad news. As if to say that they really hate to hear that. They aren't down voting out of malice.
I've seen people "like" bad news threads on Facebook. On the surface it seems worse. However, likes help to bring awareness to others, as well as seek to show acknowledgment or support.
So on here it is possible that people choose to use the down vote to convey sorrow.

Two threads about Eric Berry beating cancer were down voted. There are more than a few here.
It takes a seriously pathetic POS to down vote a post by a father who is losing his child to cancer.
I agree 100%. These people need to be gone.

I can only guess they meant to upvote and aren't aware you can change your vote when you refresh the page.

Accidental. One downvote was mine and I admitted to it in the thread. I was scrolling with my thumb on my phone and accidentally hit it.
