No. I can call a spade a spade though. I'm not deluded enough to think that Arkansas is some great school.

Certainly not worth destroying your body over.

Hell I would have paid Arkansas to let me play college football if they would have let me.

Yeah, he is just a miserable prick.

I guess Stone won't be involved in discussing Arkansas football, recruiting or in game threads helping to exploit all the players and stuff.

It's definitely not even close to a shitty school.

And that's your opinion to which your entitled. However, not everyone feels the exact same way as you which is the beauty of life. We are all free to value what we choose.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a degree from Arkansas, nothing.

While i think players are exploited, there's a time and a place to bitch about that. And railing on fans for having sympathy on a recently injured player is neither the time nor the place.

And just because injuries are part of the game doesn't make them any less painful. By that same argument we shouldn't pity dead soldiers or their families because "they knew what they were signing up for".

Such a shitty thread to gripe about the one thing rival fans are united on: player safety.

Saying "I'll pray for you" in general is a meaningless platitude, similar to "they are in a better place" and "it's for the best".

Few people actually do it, and it had never been shown to help even if they did.

I feel bad that players get hurt, because I know how I would feel if a dream of mine was suddenly derailed. I don't mourn for them though, especially when my team benefits.

You may have a valid point in here somewhere, but you're doing a lousy job of presenting it.

And your thread is extremely ironic, because you started it out by criticizing others for expressing sympathy, but now you're the one playing the sympathy card.

Give me a break. None of the rival fans give a damn about Jonathan Williams hurting his foot. They're glad it happened because it hurts Arkansas.

You really believe that someone who spends their life talking shite about opposing teams suddenly feels bad when a star player gets injured? They don't. All those people saying "That's terrible, I hope he recovers 100 percent and comes back stronger than ever!" are full of shite.

I don't believe the fans who talk shite about Arkansas CONSTANTLY are really sympathetic about one of our best players getting injured. They're probably giddy inside about it.

I can understand that point of you. That's why I don't get too sappy. But I think that a lot of times people will respect another team even if they do talk shite about it.

Regardless I'll just say, "that sucks sorry to hear about it". Hope he recovers soon for his sake. But I'm not going to be upset if he does not play in the A&M game

Couldn't be further from the truth. I said in the OP I feel bad for Jonathan Williams. I don't feel bad that he hurt his foot playing football because that's a risk you take when you decide to suit up.

I also don't feel bad for people who speed on icy roads and then crash their car.

Yeah, and then you went full retard.

Never go full retard.

Most fans that talk shite are just trolling and don't want to see a player get seriously injured. I guess it doesn't apply to you but most people don't take football so seriously that they enjoy seeing other players get hurt.

Maybe you have more in common with Harvey Updike than the average fan

So what if they are? Why do you care? As long as they're respectful, I don't care what they think.

A football player got hurt playing football. It's not that shocking, or tragic. It's a part of the game.

Man, you're an a-hole. I also highly suspect you never played the game on any level.

Take the Laquan treadwell injury last year. Auburn people were shocked by that injury to a great player. Especially since it was pivotal to the game. We were glad we won, but I dont know anybody who didnt wish that kid well and wished that didnt happen. Nobody with any class wants to win that way.

We're all people and seeing somebody hurt badly isnt cool. CFB is a sport. A fricking game. When somebody gets hurt thats not a game. Thats LIFE.
