bull shite. did you hear about this 8 months ago? imo, noone did. ok, it HAPPENED 8 months ago. maybe, just maybe, ESPN didn't have enough to go on the air with it. maybe, just maybe, the last 8 months have been used to investigate this (NCAA) and the story just broke. seems like you have an axe to grind with ESPN.

We all know how ESPN waits until the NCAA does a thorough investigation before they go on air to report it.

then why didn't they charge him for breaking that bylaw and why did either the SEC prez or NCAA prez( I forget which) specifically say it wasn't?

But there is no proof he asked for money at AU, only State, is that not correct?

Yes, that is correct. Which is one of the reasons he was allowed to continue to play, the main reason was because he didn't know dear old Cecil was asking for the cash.

I don't believe Au ever offered the cash, Au got lucky that the cash plan was getting exposed which forced Can to not be able to go to MSU it he would have most definitely been ineligible.

Not since the attacks on Cam has the agenda by ESPN been so obvious.

What is ESPN getting out of this?

Besides diminished interest in the A&M games that they paid to televise (if Manziel is out.)

Yes, it was before the Bama game, which Bama won. The game in question was the BCSNCG , not the TAMU game. You need to adjust the ITAT tinfoil hat.

They are now saying he also signed autographs before the a&m-bammer game in t-town last year.

You could include the NCAA, which is all that matters anyway.

I guess this same logic doesn't apply to TTown Menswear???

Clearer path to have an SEC team in the BCSNCG. They do not trust a&m to run the table.

You missing the point. I never said there was proof that Cam's dad received anything. He admitted to shopping his son which is against the rules. There was an admission of wrongdoing (however minor) on Cecil Newton's part. In Ttown's Menswear, there was no documented violation or admission of a violation anywhere. Granted, it looks fishy but looking fishy doesn't equal rules violation. It "looks" fishy when Dakota Mosley and Dee Liner are on twitter fanning out cash but stuff like that by itself isn't a rules violation.

People do not like JFF. ESPN sees and opportunity to start "investigating" and pounce.

Read the ESPN story about him playing a round at Hollytree. If they were doing a hatchet job on JFF they would not have toned it down.

CapstoneGrad06 Exposing ESPN I'm sorry you're butthurt, but the NCAA never opened an investigation into the T-town Menswear thing. Maybe you should start there.

You're impartial POV on the sitch is noted.

I think this is pretty likely as well.

As for the current JFF thing, it is relevant to include the Ttown menswear situation in the discussion as the same rules are in question. Namely, did a player sign memoribilia for compensation.
