knowing your family IS GETTING benefits and not knowing your family ASKED are definitely different situations, imo. but I am neither a expert in compliance nor NCAA rules...

But, you are right, I am an Auburn homer, without a doubt.

My interpretation of the link is based on the video of the compliance officer I posted earlier. He says that the NCAA can tell the institution that they believe a player is going to be ruled inelgible based on their interpretation of the rules, requiring said institution to sit the player or players until the NCAA completes it's investigation and makes a final decision on the player or players.

Malzahn isn't going to Colorado. I'd literally bet two hundred dollars right now.

They aren't interested in hiring Malzahn. And even if they were at this point there is literally no rumblings from anyone in the know that he's gone after this year.

He can go where he wants. I have no way of knowing for sure, but He seems like a warm weather guy. I see him going to a school in the south, or an area with a warmer climate.

You will no longer be acknowledged until you, as Cyde so eloquently put it, raise the level of discourse.

You probably don't see what I did there.

I don't know. But could you be kind enough to enlighten me as to how difficult walking is with Nick Sabans dick up your arse?

Bama' fans should never accuse another fan of "hero worship", imo

If a crook like Cam is your hero you have way more problems than I thought. At least our "hero" wins without cheating. One day you might understand what great football is. Now go frick a goat.

I'm just saying that I am extremely confident that Malzahn will be back for one more year.

Just so you know that video you linked is not from a former compliance officer from the NCAA.

He was an NCAA compliance officer AT Weber State and Marshall.

He is a FORMER compliance officer because he was accused of improprieties and recruiting violations at Marshall.

He DESPISES the NCAA.

He was a big proponent of Tommy Gallion and the former Alabama coaches when they sued the NCAA.

He thought the Albert Means case was a witch hunt.

So, don't take his word as any comfort for Auburn.

I don't know if Malzahn and his family would want to move across the country if Colorado was even interested. He made some comment about not wanting to leave Auburn anytime soon, but that was a generic comment.

So, in short, I don't know. But Colorado isn't looking at him.
