If people can't see that Pearl is doing a great job with what he has, then there's no reason to argue.

Alabama has more all time wins, more SEC tourney titles, 1 less SEC regular season championship, 4 more 20 wins seasons (25 to 21), and 1 less NCAA tourney appearance than LSU. LSU has a better NCAA tourney history. That is true but Bama leads or is even with LSU in literally every single way you can measure two programs. That and the fact that Bama fans have always supported basketball better than LSU.

Don't bother. You're arguing with a fanbase that has stricken recorded history before 2000 from textbooks. Georgia's been to final four in basketball but they don't claim the "greatness" LSU does. Meh, the last 10 years I guess you could say LSU has a better program but not over history. Heck, Maravich couldn't even beat Bama. LSU is a baseball school and I think we still lead the overall series even in that. We'd be ahead by a wide margin in baseball if LSU didn't use that lotto thing. They beat a team that has 12.5 schollies ONLY and brag about it and treat it like some dam super bowl when we play. Kinda like being a senior ball player in high school and beating the 7th grade team but whatever makes em feel better.
