Why are you so concerned with it? Alabama has every right to shite talk Auburn. A) Because we're rivals and both programs have made solid hires, so naturally, the intensity level rises, B) Alabama leads the series 93-58 vs Auburn, including winning the last 3 and 37 of the last 56, and C) Alabama has as many sweet 16 appearances as Auburn has total NCAAT appearances.

Alabama has more all time wins, more SEC tourney titles, 1 less SEC regular season championship, 4 more 20 wins seasons (25 to 21), and 1 less NCAA tourney appearance than LSU. LSU has a better NCAA tourney history. That is true but Bama leads or is even with LSU in literally every single way you can measure two programs. That and the fact that Bama fans have always supported basketball better than LSU.

Has nothing to do with Alabama. You have no idea what you're talking about when you talk about Auburn.

Bama has also been ranked in the AP Poll 293 weeks to LSU's 198.

LSU is a flash in the pan program that has had some solid years, but Bama has had a more consistent program, and until last year trailed only Kentucky in total wins among SEC schools.

Bama is a mediocre program. When you make a final four and win a national championship you can act like you matter. Considering UK, Florida, and Arkansas have more national titles than Alabama and LSU has more final fours you are an asterisk in the history of NCAA basketball. UTEP and Loyola of Chicago have a better basketball pedigree than Alabama.

you're providing no analysis and using lame retorts to avoid Auburn's failures.

Alabama finishing the OOC schedule with a 9-3 record with a harder schedule is definitely more impressive than what a 6-5 Auburn team has done. Excuse me for believing we'll have a better year

I don't think anyone is arguing that Bama isn't a mediocre basketball program. What we're arguing is that an LSU fan has no business talking about mediocre as if they're on a different tier or something, and definitely has no business telling us we can't pick at Auburn - as Bama's basketball program is vastly superior to Auburn's.

Auburn hasn't really been a failure considering the injuries and the talent on this team. Barbee left Pearl with less than nothing and he's still working to build a decent roster. So your comment about Avery having to use Grant's players is a joke. We have one guy coming off the bench for maybe ten minutes a game that was on this team two years ago. Spare me the bs about Avery being stuck with Grant's players.

Bama in no way shape or form is recognized as a school with a historically good basketball programs. Compare LSU's final four and tournament history versus Bama.

I've been told in the past that conference titles and regular seasons meant more than post season performance. Has that changed?
