Bama will likely get a pick and probably shut down our O if we try to play side to side.

I disagree bro. You beat them by 10 yds here 15 there. Involve the TE and FB(in this case LF at FB and Guice at RB). Run the clock down to a few seconds before snapping the ball. Limit their time of possession. Saban is still going to load the box and make Etling prove he can pas on his defense. Chark is more than capable of making them pay just with a few short curls and slants. Mix in a few LF runs, and Then you shoot for the deep ball as he safety has to come up in short yardage or run support.

No he doesn't. Not even close. Etling isn't a walking vagina.

Lees arm is way stronger than DE. DE has a noodle for an arm, which is fine vs most teams because you can play call around it. It's an issue vs Bama because the D line is big and disruptive and the line backers are extremely good at making very quick correct reads.

LSU isn't any other team that BAMA has played either.

I'm sorry, would you be proud of the defense on any of the teams BAMA has played so far?

Offensively, no.

But 1000% definitely defensively.

This is just wrong. We only lead the SEC in rushing offense.

Not knocking the OL, but again....go look at the rushing defenses BAMA has played so far.

That and Hurts not being much of a passer. BAMA has become Auburn '14

Sure ok.. Y'all do know that Les Miles was fired correct? This is a totally different LSU team. LF will be fresh for the first time against bama we also have a slashing back that is pretty decent also. OL and DL is about effort and there is much more effort now that Ed O is HC. They are both playing much different now. This will be a war and we may win we may lose but I promise you LSU will NOT be destroyed anywhere on the field. LSU needs to put Beckwith and D White on the field vs bama if we do that we will stop the run much better. D White is very good in coverage also. I guess we'll see in 2 weeks. Gonna be a great game with a great atmosphere. GT

We can't do what we did early vs ole miss. You can hit the pass run option swing but we had to many slow plays trying to stretch the field. I do think we need to hit backs and tight ends but you have to do it with passes that allow them to turn up field.

A running back on a wheel route is nice if you have time. I also like tight ends over the middle vs them. Still I stand by the best thing to do is catch Bama in man coverage and let your wr go up and get it.

The runs need to be north and south not trying to string to the side. The issue here is poccic has been bamas bitch so they just knock him back and the run is stuck.

Negative he doesn't lose it under pressure. And Lee had a stronger arm. Etling is also a lot more mobile you really don't much about these two.

Exactly

If people want to harp on the defenses LSU has played, they better do the same for BAMA

Be honest. The only reason you made the comparison is because they are both white and Lee struggled against Bama.
Skin color is about where the similarities end with those 2.

I think it's just that the 2 defenses you played, you lost to.*
