The TCU fans on r/CFB have been saying for weeks that their offense is too quick, laterally speaking, for the Landshark Defense to handle.

K.

TCU hasn't faced a single defense in the top 25 in terms of scoring defense or total yardage defense. Jus' sayin.

I think y'all will win and, by gametime, I'm sure I'll be pulling for y'all.

Lots of time to prepare for the option and for y'all to heal from Nkemdiche eating your interior OL's lunch in the Egg Bowl

Depends if TCU is coming out with a chip on their shoulder or just disappointed they didn't make the playoff. If they're pissed, I think you're right.

I think Ole Miss will win too.

I'm not so convinced at the moment.

We've only seen them play one defense with a pulse.

I doubt we get throttled, if we do lose. I could see the final score being somewhere around 35-28 if we win, maybe 34-24 and 28-20 if we lose.

The teams that beat us are run heavy, keep that in mind. TCU is more balanced, which lends to the strengths of the Landshark Defense.

(Post not directed to TA, just general statement)

I think it'll be a tough game and honestly will not be surprised if we lose.

The thing that scares me is their defense. Our D has been mostly consistent throughout the year. But I don't think we've faced a talent like Treyvon Boykin this year at QB besides maybe Dak. And that secondary could cause us some havoc. It'll be a fun game to watch for defense in my opinion.

I do believe TCU fans are being entirely too cocky. Do they not remember the last nationally lauded Big XII team that played us and the results of the game?

The speed of the Ole miss secondary will be key. And TCU hasn't seen a D Line like yours all year either. They won't walk up and down the field like everyone is saying.

Agreed.

It should be a great game. If the fans are correct, they're really unaware of the elite speed we have as a defensive unit.

We average 30.4 points per game and 443.3 yards per game. They've given up 30+ four times and 443+ three times.

They average 46.8 points per game and 542.2 yards per game. We've given up 46+ zero times and have only given up more than twenty points once, for that matter. Hell, we've only allowed more than 400+ yards four times, and one of those occurrences was a bunch of garbage time passing yards after we were stomping A&M's arse 35-7.

Should be a good game

It's one of the top five offensive units in the game versus one of the top five defensive units in the game. I think it's a great bowl matchup and I'm glad we got it.
