LSU should be no lower than 3

We're ranking the SEC, not the state of Louisiana.

ULL took over the state with a quickness.

Connor Shaw is going to be difficult to replace, in my opinion. That's really all

Can't believe in a year span, LSU has dropped from flagship to battling ULM for Top 3 in state of LA.

Give me any reason that LSU should be put in Top 3 ahead, or with, of Bama, Auburn, Georgia, USC, Missouri, Ole Miss, Florida, or Kentucky?

I just hope Thompson is back to 2012 form. He looked good for the most part then.

Last year was subpar. He looked good every now and then but wasn't consistent and made poor decisions. Hopefully having the starting job will fix that.

In every thread ever. LSU finished 5th last season and lost 4 out of their top 5 players. Like Reggie said, 3k passer, 2 1k receivers, and a 1k rusher...how does losing that much, with no one, outside of RB, to replace those players, add up to a guaranteed Top 3 pre-season spot.

It doesn't.

In other words, Clemson is trending down, SCAR is trending up ... that applies to everything in life. Growth, maintenance, decline. Business, life, football programs, whatever. Growth, maintenance, decline.

This. I think the SEC might not look as good because teams will beat up on each other, but I think overall, the SEC at least should be much better this year than last, if for no other reason, it would just be way outside a statistical anomaly for the SEC East to have such huge numbers of injuries again this year. Hell, I don't think one starting QB in the SEC East made it through the entire season without injury. Just think about that.

Tennessee is too damn high

Well we do produce the most weed outside of Cali as well as a lot of moonshine so yeah we probably are too damn high.

As to the ranking, it's about right, until we show something on the field that's all we deserve.
