This should be the easiest year ever for Johnny Jones to get LSU in the tourney because CBS is going to want to show Ben Simmons. And he's still going to frick it up somehow.

Those are all horrific football teams, so it's good to see they're having success in other areas.

I think we will be a 4 seed when it's all said and done.

I'll feel pretty good saying Kentucky, A&M, and Vandy will make it. The rest, not so much. Florida only won 1 of their good P5 matchups...South Carolina is undefeated, but have only played 1 road game, against a Meh at best schedule.

Fortunately most SEC teams remain quite beatable. Even if we post an average SEC record that should put us at a couple of games over 20 wins + whatever happens in the SEC-t. A solid bubble team, which is what I was hoping would be ideal at the beginning of the year, even before running the OOC schedule.

South Carolina a #6 seed without a Top 100 win?

Interesting

So Richmond and St. Joe's aren't good wins just because they're in the A10 and not a BCS conference?

Interesting.

South Carolina doesn't have a single top-100 win. They are more likely to go .500 in conference than be a 6 seed, which probably require no more than 5 conference losses in this shite basketball league.

Maybe that was balanced out by a loss to a shite FSU team.

Which, by the way, SC would have played in the 2nd round of a tournament we were both in, however, the 'Noles lost to Hofstra in the first round who we later beat.

Florida State isn't great but they're not "shite." We should have beaten them but they'll likely be Top 100 and won't really be considered a bad loss.

And with our projected Top 10 SOS, we'll likely get the benefit of the doubt.

So you feel good that a 5 loss vandy team that just lost at home to a terrible LSU team will make it and undefeated South Carolina won't?

hahaha fricking idiot

I don't doubt that UF will get into the dance, but if you want to compare schedules this is what I see:

1) Yes. UF had a ridiculously difficult OOC.. but the fact is that they lost all of their toughest games.

2) Because they don't have any common opponents it's difficult to evaluate UF v. SC. But FSU has lost to two teams that SC beat(Hofstra and Clemson) and the rest of the SEC has had some pretty bad OOC losses.

This isn't to say SC > UF (after all, UGA also beat Clemson who UF just beat). But to just dismiss us because conference play is about to start is absurd. Especially since it is such a weak conference. Hell, it's not even like SC has required buzzer beaters to win either.

We did have a big lead vs Clemson that slipped away but SC never lost the lead. Memphis was a real fight, but in the end we pulled away. Most of our wins have been by 10+ and we haven't been losing at half time once.

I don't expect run the damn SEC table, but 8-8 in this conference isn't giving us enough credit.

I never dismissed USCe. You could do well in conference play.

But you're an unknown.

I think with your general offensive mediocrity you're closer to a .500 SEC team than the conference winner.
