I always think it's funny when people try to pretend turnovers don't count as it relates to a game. Florida fans were notorious for that after we beat them in 12.

ok, so tennessee performed better than UGA despite those turnovers. I know this because they won the game. So tell why UGA "should have won"

I don't understand why you guys are getting so bent out of shape about this. Tennessee gave the Oklahoma game away, and Bama needed a game-winning touchdown drive out of Coker to beat them.

Not you, just the people who are so disgusted that he would say UT could win the playoff. It's not that ridiculous a statement. They almost beat two playoff teams.

We did. But almost winning isn't winning. And quite frankly, this board will self-destruct if Tennessee wins a playoff.

Well, he didn't say they would win the playoff. He said they could. And I think almost beating two playoff teams during the regular season qualifies them as a team that could win the playoff.

I don't think they "could" win it either. Maybe they could make it to the final.
