The writer of this article is a moron for actually using Role Tide in the intro, but there are several bars that seem to be specific to each SEC team's fanbase. Pretty interesting article.

Don't think it was the Ainsworth, but there used to be a bar in NYC where the waitresses wore Bama cheerleader outfits and the decor was all Alabama...might have been the Mercury Bar. Not sure if Ithey still do it.

they should have set up at Herald Square...the LSU and Kentucky bars are a block and a half away...and about 100 yards apart...

If I'm visiting NY, I'm not spending my time watching the college game day set. I try to stay away from Times Square as it is. It's the bourbon st of NY, only for the lame tourist who don't know better.

There are full Bama themed bars in NY and Chicago. Philly didn't have a Bama bar I know of but there were several regular bars/Irish pubs in different parts of the city known to host Bama fans every Saturday and buy pay per views (this was in those days). I'm sure there were/are ones that host Ole Miss fans
