How about Florida's fricking schedule? Don't act like they don't deserve a trip to a BCS game.

they played a much tougher schedule and have a better record.
I do agree with the tougher schedule, though.

I just think it's stupid how many teams who deserve to go will not get a chance to because of the stupid rules in place.

Georgia is gonna get screwed just like Mizzou did in 2007.
Hopefully they take it out on some shitty Big 12 team.

The rule is only 2 teams from the same conference can be in a BCS bowl.

Yes, I agree. The system is what it is though.

That's what happened in 01, UT beat us but lost to LSU in the SEC title game. We ended up in the Orange while they were in back in the Citrus where they belonged.

Georgia shouldn't be penalized for playing an extra game that Florida didn't even get to.
And Georgia Tech should not be going bowling with a losing record ... but the $#!+ is all fawked-up these days. Nothing makes sense anymore.
Just like Notre Dame having a shot at the MNC after that weak sauce schedule they played. It's a travesty.

Losing a conference championship game is normally a liability and you'd have been better off with the same record but not having made it.
It's one of the dumb things about college football.
The voters simply need to not drop teams who lose title games very far or at all, particularly behind teams from their own conference who didn't play in the title game.

Why didn't he say this last season after the SECG?

Easiest predictions in recent memory. SEC having more ineligible teams in the top 12 than half the BCS conferences in the country having any teams in the top 12 makes it easy.
Florida's going because it has a better body of work.

Georgia is not being penalized for "playing an extra game that Florida didn't even get to." They are being penalized for LOSING said game. If they wanted to ensure they would be playing in a BCS bowl.....they should have won the game. That's the risk of playing for the SECCG. Georgia is now a 2 loss team and the 1 loss teams will get the bowls ahead of them (Bama/BCSNC and UF/Sugar...more than likely)

UGA fans shouldn't complain about this. It's hypocritical. They lost the game, if they had won, it would have been a moot issue.
Very similar to Florida fans that felt, last night, that UF was the better team and should have been playing in Atlanta if not for the cluster in Jax this year.
It happens.
Enjoy the cotton or Chick fil A bowl. It'll still be a good match up against either Texas or Clemson. Not a bad bowl.

BCS, Fiesta and Sugar should be good. Rose and Orange will be snoozers and I will not watch.

UGA should be in Sugar Bowl..... Dawgs are getting screwed. 2nd place teams in their division shouldn't be allowed in BCS games, unless the 1st place teams are in BCS games.
Remove the 2 team from a conference limit out of the BCS rules. Fla State, Louisville, & Wisconsin don't belong in there this year. Give UGA, LSU, and USCe or aTm a chance.

Florida St, Louisville, and Wisconsin all won their divisions....Why would they not belong but a 2 loss Georgia would?

Well GAg was beaten down and embarrassed by SC.
Our SOS is wayyyy better.
We beat TAMU who beat Bama.
We are more deserving than GAg on SOS alone.

My question is... why is Florida going to the Sugar instead of Georgia?
My answer is..........they will be higher ranked in the BCS today and the top 4 teams get automatic BCS bowls.
