Not surprised. Who even likes the Barners? Beside Scam and Unfairly.. you wouldn't have won in 2010. Auburn simply isn't a cfb powerhouse.
And I suppose UGA is?

No complaining here. We control our own path, that's the most you can ask for at this point in the season.

There is no way Auburn isn't 3rd when the rankings come out on Thursday.
They should be 2nd.
The media is retarded, and all of those analysts have too big of egos to project what will actually happen, when it's clear how the committee is ranking these teams.
Instead they put clowns like Tom Luginbill and Robert Smith on TV, who rank Alabama #1 just because "no one is playing better than them right now."
The media isn't in control anymore. It's awesome.

I love all the talk about controlling their own path bs. Hell, Vandy controlled their own path prior to the first game. Bama has yet to play anyone.

Catch the rankings last week? Notice how Alabama wasn't in the top 5?
It's because the CFP committee bases things on the results you've had on the field, not potential or any other bullshite subjective criteria.
It's the same reason TCU will jump Alabama this weekend.

We are 7-1 with very good potential to hit the playoffs, yet your threads wreak of pessimism insecurity about a situation you don't control. Why don't you just enjoy our season?
Posted on 11/2/14 at 8:47 pm to Ishmael
Why do people care what ESPN says?

So a 2 spot difference in the AP poll and the initial playoff rankings show that the media isn't influential?
And you think TCU will jump Alabama because they beat a team that Alabama handled on a last second field goal?
Sheesh.

Look at the CFP rankings. Completely based off resume. Auburn at #3 (where they should be, because they've done more than any one-loss team), Ole Miss and Oregon up high, because of their wins against ranked teams.

Sheesh.
Alabama beat WVU on a neutral field in a decently competitive game. TCU beat WVU on the road in a very competitive game. Winning on the road matters a lot to the committee, as we can see by how much they are valuing Auburn's win @ K-State.
TCU has 2 very good wins. Alabama has one good win. TCU has beaten 3 ranked teams, Alabama has beaten 1. Even if you count WVU as a ranked win for Alabama, they still are one behind. They both have similar close, tough losses on the road.
TCU will be ahead of Alabama. It's not that tough to understand if you look at what both teams have done.

I watch a lot of ESPN and the SEC Network and I heard nothing negative about Auburn football but one talker said that Auburn fans never wash their feet.

Seriously, haven't heard an analyst give us credit for shite. Plenty of locker room material though. Honestly going to crack me up when the committee doesnt give a shite what they think.

Every time I've browsed this board today, you've been trolling. I'd ask how your day's been but I already know.

You don't see things clearly. You played them on a neutral field before they had improved and gained confidence as a quality team. TCU went on the road. Too much logic for you?

I think it's officially safe to say that all this talk about Auburn being lucky has seriously rattled the Barn fans on here.
