Journalism has been dead for a long time. And sports journalism was pretty horrendous to begin with.

You all are missing the point. It is not how we got to where we are. Imagine that you are doing you Saban retirement replacement and in the middle of it all an LSU or Auburn booster starts feeding rumors into ESPN while you are playing on TV...

Been trying to tell you guys about ESPN and texass. They have the LHN together and there is going to be bias and collusion. ESPN not making anything close to what they thought they would with LHN. It's in their best fiscal interest for texass to be competitive on the national stage.
Guess now that you guys are getting a taste of it... it's not so far fetched now is it?

Hits. Money makes everything go down smoother, including a lack of journalistic integrity.
Then again, if they sourced it, they're not strictly in the wrong, per se. They're just reporting what someone else said. Ultimately, it's our job to decide if the source has integrity or credibility.

I was laughing my tits off when this "breaking news" was happening. LSU "could" name Tom Herman as coach. Chris Lowe "confirms." What in the ever living frick is that? How can you confirm "could?" This is nuts on so many levels. What are you confirming? My thought process says nothing because it's could. The breaking news is just...not there. And what moron put that graphic on the screen? Journalism died long ago but do TV producers have to be idiots as well?

That was what got me. They were not claiming anything in the affirmative. Just spreading bad gossip like it was a big scoop.

Saban won with Dinardo and Shula's players. What difference does it make? What about 2011? Winning or losing with leftovers is a poor argument and credits/discredits the current coach.

Chris Low is in that mix, but not quite as bad as the list above. Interestingly almost all have been fired or replaced at their jobs since 2010.
