Has anyone ever recruited well to fricking Cincinatti? Hardly an indictment of him. Saban didn't recruit great to MSU when he was there, did he (honestly don't know if they even did stars back then)?

I don't think it's a home run hire, but given the coaches that were available I think he was one of the better "up and comers." I'd probably have preferred Dave Doeren, myself, but Jones will be better than Dooley.

That is a pretty chicken shti thing to say if you are really a fan of the program. I have been an Alabama fan my entire life and I pulled for the Tide all of those years we were not so good.

Cincy seems to be the new school to produce up and coming coaches. I can't believe Fat Phil was begging to come back. It would have been fun to kick that fat arse some more.
A few years back when I bought a new home I hired a Home Inspector to check it out. The guy rolled up with all of this Tennessee crap on his truck. I proceeded to tell him how much I hated Fat Phil. He proceeded to tell me about how great Phil Fulmer was and how Bama deserved to be ratted on by Fat Phil. I won't be hiring him ever again....
