in the Football Power Index which is designed to predicted how teams fare each year.

8th place in the SEC this year for AU according to ESPN FPI.

Talk about a team with predictions all over the place. Seems no one knows WTF to think about AU this year.

So instead of proping them up and have them fail, they have changed course and said they will be an average team this year so they can win big.

Yes because either way they are right. If Auburn ends up winning the title, ESPN can point to their spring predictions. If Auburn ends up flopping, ESPN can point to their July prediction.

ESPN gonna ESPN.

If Auburn wins less then 8 games this year it means the injury bug decided to take an extended stay on campus. I'm not sure they win the Natty, but there is a lot of talent on that Auburn sideline.
