UGA's OL will be judged by how well the new QB plays. If he holds the ball too long and takes too many sacks, they will blame the OL. If he rushes his passes and throws incomplete balls, they will blame the OL. UGA can run block, but they will have to pass the ball more this year to be successful.
Yes and no. Teams will have to pretty much constantly stack the box against Chubb, Michel, and Marshall (as we have proven that we can and will run the ball with reckless abandon for an entire game if it suits us) which will free up a lot of quick slants for either Park or Ramsey (both of whom are both taller and have considerably stronger arms than Mason did). But playing hypotheticals, this is why I like Park to win the job as he is the more athletic of the two QBs and has a knack for using his legs to extend plays. Dude can launch it downfield, too.

AU too high IMO.
Auburn lost Reese Dismukes, and he was a big loss, but we will put Austin Golson in his place at center (started at Ole Miss as a true freshman). Chad Slade was very experienced but had talent limitations. He was the slowest pulling guard I've ever seen. And if Alex Kozan can come back from his back injury, look out. Auburn might have another dominant offensive line.
LT Shon Coleman
LG Alex Kozan
C Austin Golson
RG Braden Smith
RT Avery Young

Tunsil keeps us out of the cellar.
Based off strictly last year's performance I would agree with this ranking. However, I believe this year is a make or break year for the Oline. Tunsil is a beast & FC was actually pretty good at RT. The issues are the interior line play and with 2 back to back top 5 OG recruits in the 2014 & 2015 classes (with Paterson as an EE) their overall quality of performance should improve significantly if the 2 athletic road graders earn the nods. If that doesn't occur then I believe Freezus needs to find another OLine coach

That's gotta be a sight for sore eyes for UGA, they had some perennially shitty OLs for a while

This is quite an oddity
It snowed in Alabama so things are all out of whack with the universe right now.

LSU should be about the same as last year. Hopefully the put it all together a little bit quicker though.

Going by ESPN positional rankings so far, Alabama will be lucky to be third in the Divison.
Well, it isn't out of the question.

quote:Yup... Neil Callaway('01-'06) could coach but not recruit, Stacy Searels('07-'10) could recruit but not coach. Will Friend('11-'14) came in & did a good job of both recruiting & coaching. The current line is Friends work. We now have Rob Sale & the jury is out on him, seems to be a great recruiter but we've not seen him coach yet...

sEE UF game.
What's your point? We were without our starting center for more than a half and Chubb still ran for 100+ yards and 2 TDs. Our offense wasn't the problem in the UF game; considering what UF's defense was doing that season, we didn't play outstanding but we weren't awful either. The problem that game was very simply our defense neglecting to play the run at any point after the 10 minute mark in the 1st qtr.

Should be a great o-line for Chubb.
Auburn's line is great if Kozan returns 100%. But back injuries are tricky and Kozan is a big man. I can't put a lot of stock into it just yet. I'm really excited about Golson, though.

You lost by double digits because the Offense was one dimensional and UF stacked the box. Expect that a lot next year, until they prove otherwise.

UGA's too high. Losing Andrews is going to hurt.

It's the refs fault

List is crap. MSU should be 14. We all know State lost every player that has ever played and then some. According to some on here I don't know why we are even fielding a team next year.

We lost by double digits because our defense had no answer for their run game.
Most expected that game to be a low-scoring affair given what UF was packing on Defense. 20-28 points by UGA could have/should have won it.

Not too worried seeing as there aren't many teams on our schedule that will have the combination of DL and DBs that UF had last year. But, like I already said, Chubb still ran for over 100 yards in that game.

I can see top 3 but after watching the shite show that was the UF game I'm really nervous about our next C.
