I heard some news people say similar things...but I have never known a football player that wore a cup....never even heard of one. A jockstrap...but not a cup.

It is cute watching all the kids fight over who is more gay tolerant just to appease to what they see as prevalent "correct" thinking.

God bless those gays...what did we ever talk about before you existed?

I don't understand why you would say that. I mean, he is saying whoa, because it surprised him. He isn't saying whoa because YOU should be surprised. He has an opinion, and I am fine with his opinion. I've noticed people on this board SEEM to want to force their opinions on others.

I see your point, but I also think it's not a surprising number. In fact, I would think the number of players who believe that *somebody* on the team is gay is probably higher than a third of them. It doesn't say "know", it says "think", and I'm sure I had my suspicions about teammates way back when I was playing in high school.

I understand - when I was younger and less familiar with the world, I also thought that everyone saw things my way and that nobody *really* disagreed.

Or, he may have been scared you were.

What is the problem with somebody having an opinion?

You guys think you have to bend everybody's opinion to suit you? Nothing like a little thought control....

No, but that would be the last time he set foot in my home as long as he was gay.

Everyone acts like "oh it's not a big deal" and "don't judge them because they're gay" but these same people would have mental breakdowns if their kid was gay.

Although you're going full retard quoting bible verses, this is true.

And I say this as a Christian. Many people don't believe, so your verses to them are meaningless. You are putting major emphasis on one sin over another. You have sins just the same as gays do. That hot chick with the sweet arse that you saw the other day....did you look? Yeah, you sinned.

Something doesn't add up here.

Oops. Sucks when you make a mistake like that on this site and see that there are three more pages after you said it.

Oh, GAWD.

I'M A SINNER!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure God forgave me for that, but when I grabbed it and asked if she'd ever seen a crisp new 20 dollar bill, HR wasn't so understanding.

Honestly, how is it different than a man being in a woman's locker room? I bet women would fricking freak if a male coach was in the locker room when they were changing.

But, the gays say that they aren't attracted to every man, so it's no big deal. However, out of 100+ men in that locker room, odds are they're attracted to about half of them. And the same argument could be used for a male being in a woman's locker room. He's not attracted to all of them.

Point being.....the gays sharing a locker room is uncomfortable for some people. However, people chastise a person who admits they're uncomfortable with that.

Thank you. This is not a discussion on whether or not being gay is ok. The guy said he would feel uncomfortable getting in the shower with a gay guy. If he feels uncomfortable he feel uncomfortable. You guys think you have to change his mind on that? Why are his personal beliefs and thoughts wrong and yours are right? You attack him for being judgmental, and yet you are all judging him?

Well your son would need two chances to try it. The first try he would get his arse beat at home and need a lot of things to go right before he could back his way into having another shot.

Not saying your feelings are wrong, because I would be upset too, but you disowning your son is just as much a sin as him being gay.

You should love the person, hate the sin.

Only your kid can accept Christ for himself and not act upon those immoral thoughts. However, you judging here makes it hard for me to believe you're without fault. (premarital sex, lusting, masturbating to porn, etc.)

I agree. I think most believe the number is higher. But after he said this everyone is jumping all over him. I don't understand. I mean, everyone is calling him judgmental...but they are all judging him. Why is it NOT ok for him to judge, but it IS ok for everybody else to judge? Shouldn't his comment have passed with no one saying or thinking anything?

Look. This isn't my fight...I just find it ironic that everyone is judging HIM for being judgmental!

I'm loving how you keep posting things like this, and before anyone gets a chance to read it he posts another comment that shows just how backwoods his thinking really is.

You'd have a much easier time defending him if his computer went dead.

Perhaps you are reading the wrong Bible, then? It is considered to be one of the greatest books ever written. I mean, any basic Literature appreciation course would cover it in college.

Ahhhh...I see the problem, then. You don't understand HOW to read it. (This is not a slam) A LOT of people don't understand that the Bible is NOT "A" book, but it is made up of a lot of different books, written towards different groups of people at different times. You have to understand who it was written to and why it was written to them. (Sorry. My English Lit background is showing)
