Something tells me the negative recruiting pitch to parents "Kirby is going to get his staff drunk and drive your kids home" might hit different now.
That potential negative recruiting pitch is obviously not working since UGA is #1 on 247 for this class.

Not judging, but are you Lloyd or Harry?

Neither. I do wonder if either of them would have street raced and killed someone. Even as dumb as they were, I doubt they were that dumb.

frick ESPiN! Turn off your TV and kill that channel for good! That's all it would take!

What is the world coming to, when fat, blonde, White women can't even go out for a night of good clean mud sharking without getting killed?

Don't we all?

Everybody drinks and drives. Y’all act like this is some rare thing.

I had no idea they were so severe from initial stories and posts here. The injuries will be easy to confirm in court. Combined with the fact that it has been established the crash happened while racing, and he left the scene of the wreck without rendering assistance, Jalen Carter might be playing his career for this woman.
I have two family members in the ACPD... one was on scene the night it happened. The crime scene photos are horrific and it was known that night that Carter was there "racing" them. He's a POS for leaving that scene to try to save his arse instead of trying to save or offer any assistances to those injured. I hope she gets a stupid amount of money out of him.

Well first the AJC is out to get Georgia, now I guess ESPN is

It's hilarious that y'all are still getting so worked up about this a year after it happened. The desperation here that Kirby will fail, just proves how scared y'all are of him. It's honestly amazing to watch.

Or we just like to marvel at the fact that this guy who goes into the living rooms of hundreds of kids, looks the parents in the eye, and tells them he will take care of their son is directly responsible for the culture that got multiple people killed AND that same culture produced the guy who left those people dead and dying at the scene of a fiery car crash. Dude is a snake with a bowl cut

I've heard this for close to a year now and never really understood why this makes Carter the spawn of Satan.
Aside from a lot of people on high horses that would do the same thing...I've never understood why he was judged so harshly for a split second decision made in what was surely a terrible, irrational headspace after he just saw someone die. Who TF makes good decisions in the face of that??
Yes, leaving is wrong. I don't think panicking and leaving is hard to understand though or some "sign of evil"

I'm sure it has nothing to do with you edit....

That’s a terrible look. Hope parents of recruits are seeing this.

That is the most rational explanation of Carter's actions that I've heard to date, and I can accept the explanation.
I'd counter with, that what people call "split second decisions" aren't made in a split second. All of our previous behaviors and the events of our lives influence the decisions we make in the moment. Neurologically speaking, all of this happens in the Amygdala, the part of the brain that controls our thoughts and actions during high stress "fight or flight" situations. It doesn't make Carter "evil", it just means his base mode was to extract himself from the situation.

Any person with a brain can see the edited part of the post.
The bottom line is, the mods on the UGA board revoked my posting privileges over there for stuff that happened here, not there.
It's the UGA board and the mods can run it how they like. But I never posted anything on the UGA that warranted a ban. It was a banning out of spite.
Ironically (or not), the message at church last night was on Jacob and Esau and forgiveness. So even though I got banned from their board for no good reason, I can find it in my heart to let it pass and move on from it...
