WOW amazing stats Hurts has vs a senior
Hurts is awesome but this is about the best player at each position in 2016, which by every metric available is Dobbs

Fitz would be the best by multiple metrics actually. Except winning games, which is paramount for a QB, and Hurts seems to be pretty good at it.

DL: Arden Key, LSU
Would have put Adams in over him

Alabama won plenty of games despite pedestrian performances by Hurts.
Adam Griffith is the best kicker in the SEC going by your line of thinking, correct?

It's not a team award. It's for individual accomplishments. I wouldn't have a problem if Dobbs is 1st team. Hurts can be 2nd team.

I swear tabor is the most overrated player in the nation

Something else that never gets mentioned. No offense to Engram, he's great and all.
But OJ Howard is the best college TE I've ever seen. I know that he hasn't been utilized as much as he probably should have been but how and why is that guy not on everyone's radar?

Really dumb response. I am ashamed that I have went back and forth with a dullard like yourself.

He has bricks for hands, is a subpar route runner, and an average blocker. He's an exceptional athlete, but not a well rounded tight end.

He's not even the best CB on his own team imo

Sure he gets some picks, but he is good to get burned deep twice a game.

stats aren't everything. You have to give context to the stats.
For instance, Western Michigan is undefeated as is Alabama. That doesn't make them equal.
Dobbs down the stretch, had South Carolina, TN Tech, Kentucky, Missouri, and Vanderbilt. Whereas Hurts had LSU, Ms State, UT Chatt, Auburn, and Florida. Those defenses are
Total Defense Rankings
LSU (13)
Ms State (110)
UT- Chatt (6 - FCS)
Auburn (20)
Florida (6)
average = 31 (w/o FCS = 37)
South Carolina (62)
TN Tech (80 - FCS)
Kentucky (88)
Missouri(118)
Vandy (65)
average = 83 (w/o FCS = 83)
FWIW, in the last three games (25%) of the season, Dobbs accounted for:
55% of his rushing yards
40% of his rushing TDs
last four (33.3%) of his games
36% of his passing yards
42% of his passing TDs
8% of his INTs
