You know how a game is a rivalry game? When the teams nearly get a brawl during the victory formation with neither team ranked.

The test of the rivalry game is how much the teams care about beating the other when nothing else is on the line, not when an entire season is on the line.

Bama is not our rival, we just hate your fricking guts. That can be said for most teams in the SEC. We don't have a true rival, we just prefer to hate all of you. MSU and Vandy get passes in my book, but not in others.

Damn. Can't say I have ever seen anything like that. What was it for?

I think this was the same game that their FG kicker got punked by our tuba player too.

They went and started jumping on the eye of the tiger at the 50 and I think they wouldn't stop so the refs threw a flag on them. I remember kidding around that the refs threw a flag on them because I saw something go flying in the air. I had no idea that's what had actually happened until right before kickoff and the ref took center stage. It was hilarious. I didn't even know that could be done since the game hadn't even started yet. Tubbs went nuts and Saban had a genius moment deciding to onside kick it and LSU got it. Tubbs lost it. That was the game that was pushed back to December because of 9/11 and it decided who went to the SECCG.
