I'm being serious, I've said this multiple times even when we had great defenses. There is a reason we have no pass rush unless we have incredible talents like Mingo. If you watched us play you ccould see this.

He's an incredibly conservative DC, which works on first and second downs. Also doesn't work at the end of games. This defense is good but they could be incredible with a more aggressive coordinator. No reason why this defense shouldn't have more turnovers and sacks

Nobody is saying he's not a great d coordinator, but I will tell you. He is a frustrating 3rd down caller and I am not sure what is going on with the last 2 minutes, but we have lost a lot of games like that the last few years.

Alabama 2012, Alabama 2014, ole miss 2013, Clemson, 2012, notre damn 2014. I am sure there are a few more.

He is better than anything A&M has ever had so I can see how you guys would feel this way. LSU had muschamp, pelinni, etc. We expect good defense.

We've lost what...11 games since 2012? How many of them were a situation where LSU was tied or had the lead late in the game and Chavis lead them to piss it away.

2012 Bama
2012 Clemson
2013 Ole Miss
2014 Alabama
2014 Notre Dame

You take away 3 plays and LSU only scores 7 points against a scoring defense worse than A&M's.

Fournette 100 yard KO return
Dearse 75 yard TD pass
Fournette 89 yard TD run

For all the shite LSU fans give us about time of possession, they held the ball a grand total of 23 minutes.

LSU had 52 plays to Notre Dame's 77

The complete lack of offense hurt LSU's defense...especially in cold weather.

He can be conservative at A&M. If he can force FGs instead of TDs, that's going to work about 90% of the time for us since we should be able to put up some points.

Good point. After the tripe Sumlin's jogged out there the past couple of years, I suppose anything less than 500ypg will be a boon.

Sad but true. This may be one of those win-win transactions.

The style of offensive play, yes. It's the same reason your defense is any good. Don't tell me Arkansas has superior athletes.

HE is like Ellis Johnson. He is getting too old. You need a sideline coordinator who will get in their face and keep them fired up and accountable.

Exactly, LSU needs a young and aggressive DC who actually likes to recruit. Go get Manny Diaz at La Tech. Hopefully, he learned from his days at UT.

We don't take t.u.'s garbage.

We learned that lesson the hard way with Gary Darnell.

He's all yours. Enjoy the frequent last-minute losses. Of course, that's much better than the all-game beatdowns you are accustomed to. So there's that...
