Your thread is a big whine.

No one around here cares about football.

Not really "Enemy SEC territory", but almost everyone down here hates Ohio State. I wear Buckeyes gear almost everywhere I go. I have Ohio State flags on my house, and Ohio State plates and decals on my vehicles. I've lived south of North Carolina since I enlisted in 2001. It's recently been a lot of fun. I definitely enjoy how pissed off some Bama "fans" get when they see me coming. I suspect most of those people were FSU fans a year ago.

Your daughter has bigger balls than you do.

Winning almost all the time spoils you. When you're so good it's a spectacle when you do lose - no need to brag.

Atlanta isn't exactly enemy territory. UGA isn't really our enemy and Atlanta is a melting pot of SEC teams anyway.
When I go to Athens, I sport the UK gear though.

For those of you who live in Enemy Territory - How do you handle it?
Chicago isn't really enemy territory unless a local B1G fan has some unhealthy hatred for the SEC, but I sure as hell don't keep LSU a secret.
As long as you're not an obnoxious a-hole and can take good-natured ribbing, most fans of other schools are cool and actually appreciate the interaction.

When you're an Alabama fan the whole college football world is hostile to you. As an Alabama fan living in New Orleans I've heard all the yarns and politely endured all the blabber mouths and whiners. It's better just to listen to them convince one another they're unlucky than ignite an argument.

Why do you think that is?
There are plenty of teams that kick the shite out of lsu i have no ill remorse towards. There are plenty of "winning" teams that i dont hate. So why hate bama?

Raided in Oxford as a State fan. Didn't hide like a bitch, everyone knew where my allegiances are. Always joked about running around the square with a Cowbell on Friday night, never did because I enjoy my life. Talk a lot of shite in high school, took some shite, all in good fun (not really, it was a crappy week of school after the Egg Bowl if State lost.

If I lived in New Orleans I wouldn't have any trouble wearing my teams gear. I don't have a problem with it in Georgia. I have friends that are fans of/attended Auburn, LSU and Georgia. We jab at one another but it's just football.
The scariest part of the original post has been completely glossed over and it needs to be discussed.
Unless it's your little girl, that is creepy as frick.

It's prints are sold on almost every major online art site including the University of Alabama Book Store. My three daughters got together and bought the original oil painting for me as a Christmas gift for $17,000. It hangs on the wall of my home office.

I lived in Knoxville last summer and never hid my allegiance. I know Tennessee and A&M aren't rivals , but I never had any issues. Plenty of good natured ribbing and lots of invitations to Neyland, but nothing ever hostile.

I live in BR, Ole Miss grad and it can be tough, but really lots of fun..I never wear colors to a football game, leave early if we are behind, and embrace the suck..while hoping against all odds the good guys will win..
