Enemy Territory

I live in Enemy SEC Territory. I almost never mention my SEC team. No signs or banners. No decals or team logos on my vehicles or property. I have one small oil painting of a little girl in my teams cheerleaders outfit - but that's it. When someone brings up the local SEC Power I just nod and smile. My friends know where my allegiance lies of course but I don't gloat or discuss it with them much either because it always causes defensive reactions and long winded excuses & arguments (just like here).
We had a party at my house in New Orleans last Saturday Night for my daughters medical partners staff and families. Almost all LSU fans. They talked football from the minute they arrived to the minute the left. I never mentioned my team - although my daughter did a little good natured trash talking I avoided it completely.
For those of you who live in Enemy Territory - How do you handle it?

I have a huge LSU decal on my truck and my buddies rib me for wearing LSU shirts on most days when I'm in a relaxed setting. Being in the military is all about being proud of your roots and college football is a good topic to represent that.

The guy I stand watch with is actually a big a&m fan and we bought a trophy to pass off to the winner of the LSU-A&M game. I'll let you guess who hasn't had the chance to bring it home yet.
