WTF. College baseball is a thing?
I guess baseball as a sport in general is waning as a sport.
I flipped by the White Sox and A's game last night. Over half the stands were empty.
In America, sports' popularity goes:
NFL
CFB
NBA
College Basketball
MLB
NHL
Everything else is highly regional
I'd be more concerned with College Basketball attendance. (especially if I were LSU)
*Side-fact: Alabama Gymnastics has higher average attendance than LSU baseball.

I love college basketball, but it's an irrelevant sport nationally from November-February. It is popular in the month of March, but MLB has a very large following nationally (especially in big cities), from April-October.
