So what else would JFF have to do to convince you? I mean, he only put up the two best statistical seasons in the history of the league.

It's more about his style of play than his productivity. His productivity is definitely elite. So was Danny Wuerfel's in the SEC. A lot of QBs have been statistically dominant in college due to system and/or unique skills that are effective in college but not in the NFL.

A lot of his success takes advantage of undisciplined defenders and bad tackling (and he throws more passes up for grabs than most QBs I've ever seen). That kind of lack of discipline and bad tackling are rare in the NFL. I think he could be good, but I think a lot of people are not convinced that what he did in college means he has elite NFL potential.

All depends on what youre looking for. All of those guys except Murray have a bright future in the NFL.

Agree. Seems a lot like Tee Timbow 2.0.

I agree with this assessment, I was just wanting that particular poster to respond because if his logic is along the same lines as ours, no Auburn or Texas A&M QB could ever be a sure fire prospect for the draft due to the system they play in.

I just hope that my Cowboys take one of the 4. Don't even care which one as long as Romo doesn't take another snap with a star on his helmet....
I'm least sold on Murray of the 4 but I'd still take him.

You're crazy if you would trade Romo with any of these QB's at present moment. Now 5 years down the road may be a different story, but if you polled league GM's if they would take any of these 4 or Romo today, it would be unanimously Romo.

Prepare to be disappoint.

ETA: Tony Romo is way, way down the list of the problems of the total shitfest that is the Cowboys.

As a Gm, that would be a terrible move. That's an experienced NFL QB vs an "unproven" QB. While all of them played good ball in college, I bet no GM in thier right mind would take that chance. Experience and talent just means to much these days.

McCarron was exposed in the Cotton Bowl. He is a product of playing with so many other great players.

JFF might be the one you would take for the fan interest rather than what he would definitively be able to do at the next level. He's obviously the best college QB of the bunch but as another poster pointed out people are unsure whether his skill set will transition to the next level or whether with more bigger, faster, sure tacklers a lot of his plays (the primary value he brings to the table) will just not be possible against a team full of NFL quality players.

Obviously Mett has the best arm of the bunch but he's coming off an injury and IMO has not developed a good enough pocket awareness to be franchise QB without growth. I don't think his accuracy is as much of a problem as I did before Cam arrived - I think his technique and results significantly improved in their only year together.

LOL Mccarron. See the sugar bowl, on what happens when he faces pressure and does not have all day to throw. And I doubt his rb's in the NFL will be averaging 7 yds a carry for the wide open play action. Just maybe, a huge maybe he'll end up on a team with a pretty good defense.

LOL Manziel. See the A&M-LSU game on what happens when he ... etc, etc.

Every QB has bad games.

Can't make the throws. There's a reason he's won 2 NC's but not going to be picked very high.

He will be a backup and probably into coaching in 5 years.
