Was Adams the one who had the punt return against UTK? That might be the best return I've ever seen.

Yep

Trindon Holliday is the only other one who comes to mind for me. He had speed to kill and burned us several times.

Kenyon Drake would probably be, but we're not risking him getting injured.

So whoever the next elite guy is, we'll find out in the next couple of weeks. It is strange not having any top returners coming into a season.

Not all time of course, but just for this season, IMac is the clear choice. 2 punts and 1 KO returned for TDs last year as a true freshman.

IF Graham could catch, he'd still be on Offense...

Were you at the game (might have been Auburn) where one of the Freds had already replaced Graham as punt returner and the opposing punter shanked a punt and went into the State bench? Graham actually caught the shank on the sideline and he got a standing ovation from the fans on our side that saw it.

We had a little white boy named Derek Abney that wasn't bad.

I remember him. Seems like y'all beat us pretty badly the couple of years we played him.

Joe Adams was a beast and I don't recall him ever dropping a punt at Arkansas. If he did, I don't think it cost us much.

adams dropped one and picked up and ran it for a touchdown

adams had 5 punt returns for touchdown and 2 kickoff returns, there is Devin hester then Joe Adams

Yes, he ran a punt and a kickoff back at the Swamp. You guys won the game 41-34, but we scared you a bit. That's back when the Hefty Lefty was our quarterback.

Yep, he was a bad arse. I think he made the list of the best in the last 75 years too.

He was awesome! One of the best all times and is close to the top career yds. Top 5 for sure.

Not sure what's funny about this...

The LSU Tigers have already talked about using freshman Donte Jackson on both sides of the ball this season and now the world may know why, as Jackson, according to multiple sources via NOLA.com, ran a 4.24 40-yard dash Tuesday.

You're right. They just released that list of top 75 all time. He was voted 3rd team Punt Returner behind Johnny Rodgers of Nebraska and Rocket Ismail of Notre Dame. I was a little surprised he was voted that high. Abney was really good, but those 2 guys are some awfully tall cotton to be with.

Missouri is gonna miss Marcus Murphy. He was always a threat to break a long return for a TD.

If he would have completed his eligibility, Maclin would have been the GOAT at Missouri, and far better than most at other schools as well.

OP should have had Gurley on the list as well.

You actually mean: Derrius Guice or Donte Jackson.

And to the FL fan laughing: A lot of SEC fans won't be laughing long after they see these two guys. These are two very special talents. Jackson is faster than Trindon Holliday.
