Ok, the thread on special teams got me thinking about Punt Returner of the SEC. I can't think of any current players that are truly elite and strike fear that every time they touch the ball it could be a TD.

Maybe Noil at TAMU

Who will be the next elite guy emerge?

The SEC has had some great ones over the years. Most recently

T. Mathieu at LSU
Javier Arenas at Bama
Dexter McCluster at Ole Miss
Brandon James at UF
Percy Harvin at UF

Others not to forget

David Palmer at Bama
Trindon Holliday at LSU
Joe Adams at Ark
P. Peterson at LSU

White may have had decent stats but he was far from elite. Donte may be our next TM7

Noil might not even be the punt returner. I haven't kept up with it lately, but I know at one point Kirk was running punts back. Its nice having a bunch of these 5 star elites athletes available.

No one will be fielding punts against Bama so mark that game off the list

Was Adams the one who had the punt return against UTK? That might be the best return I've ever seen.

Joystick at UGA is probably the best in the conference. Markell Pack, somehow third-team All-SEC preseason by some, is one of the worse in the SEC. He terrifies me more than when we had Korvic Neat and Marshay Green back there.

Tony Bridges or Jalen Julius could be pretty good this year, but I don't think anyone holds a candle to Joystick and Noil.

We raised Virginia Tech, then Georgia called our raise and reraised. We folded.

Noil is the starter for punt return.

He's pretty good, but he definitely has room to grow. He needs to work on finishing returns.

Joe Adams was a beast and I don't recall him ever dropping a punt at Arkansas. If he did, I don't think it cost us much.
