I know as an LSU fan I would have been ecstatic to have Eddie play for the Tigers. Sorry to see him get injured. Seems like the type of guy who goes all out on every play with an edge to his game. Glad LSU doesn't need to account for him, but wish it wasn't due to negative circumstances. Hope Eddie recovers quickly and doesn't miss out on his future in the NFL.

5 years ago, all we heard was "FREAK!! OMG Freak is gonna be the best d-lineman everrrrr!!!"

LSU has more players in the NFL than Alabama

And if the "freak" you are talking about is Danielle Hunter he is one of the best d-lineman in the NFL (Freak Johnson is also in the NFL FYI)

Now sit down

I just remember Sammie constantly burning him in the 2014 Iron Bowl.

That was when he was a CB. Saban converting him to safety was brilliant.

He converted a guy who got burned as a CB to a safety. Yeah unparalleled genius there.

I think what the poster was referring to is that if both Jackson and Fournette were running directly at each other with a full head of steam, Eddie would have broken more than just a leg

That tackle from behind was a good play though

What is that supposed to show me? Congrats, he wrapped LF up by behind his legs. Textbook tackle.

What I was saying is that if LF and Eddie were running at each other full speed, Eddie would be a stain on the street.

Hes a phenomenal coverage safety with awesome instincts as well though. LF is just a man amongst boys.

So you mean a safety would get run over by a RB? No...

LF would run over Eddie Jackson if they were running at each other. That's what I'm saying.

I remember the recruitment battle. Wanted him to be a tiger. He reminded a lot of Corey Webster in high school. I knew he was a Saban type of DB.

Yeah, missed how one of our safeties in the NFL just had a pick-six to help his team win the game? And it's a top play of the year?

Well I'm glad he showed off intercepting Case Keenum. What a test.

Collins has gotten all 3 of his career interceptions in two games where the opposing QBs threw 7 combined interceptions. Just a little perspective there.

Hey man, they have THE Landon Collins... LSU fans wish Tyran Mathieu and Patrick Peterson were as established as Landon....

Do you know what Eddie Jackson and Landon Collins have in common?

They both played their entire careers at Alabama without losing to LSU. It's good to be king
