As long as Drake isn't playing defense, I don't really care to argue this one. No defensive players could catch Marshall when he was healthy - I certainly hope that is still the case.

A lot of LSU fans are going to say Guice, and rightfully so, but for me it's David Ducre.

He's 240 lbs and runs a sub-11 100 meter. He could turn out to be very, very good.

ETA...j/k...Marshall was having a beast game till that point. One of the few UGA injuries from that day that didn't come from the turf....

Yep it is Ducre for me to as a LSU fan. Kids recruitment reminds me of Steven Ridley. Both were rated the #1 fullback in high school while playing tailback. And like Ridley, Ducre is expected to see time at tailback as a freshman. Ducre is probrobly more talented than Ridley on paper and that is saying something since Ridley when healthy and not in doghouse is an above average NFL back. 240 with track star speed in high school is impressive.

Better believe this game will be his motivation to go Beast Mode.

The best combination of speed, size and vision in the conference this year will be David Williams at SCAR ... but hes young.

How can you say this with a straight face?

That's bullshite and you know it. Drake wasn't even the fastest RB in the state when he was in high school.

What does that have to do with post-deer antler spray Drake?

My bad, I forgot I was on tRant where others make up stuff and pass them off as fact. Use "Drake is faster than Marshall" as an example.

LSU RB Leonard Fournette

Watching Fournette as a freshman in 2014 was like seeing an 18-year-old in a 24-year-old body with a 30-year-old mind. He is that mature in just about every facet. This is the only running back to be ranked No. 1 overall in the ESPN 300 coming out of high school, and it was for a reason. Expect to see Fournette explode over the next two years in Baton Rouge. The box will certainly be loaded until LSU can get moderate QB production, but regardless, Fournette will get his touches and, barring injury, would be the most complete running back to enter the NFL draft in years.

Any team that depends on the running game for their Offense, is in for an average year.

Agreed, and I think he'll have Justin Vincent-ish freshman numbers. I just don't think he'll stay out of trouble for too long

For those who didn't know...the definition of owning a team has been officially changed. It now means "Beating a 10.5 point underdog by 3 points in overtime".

If you like the way that Ducre looks wait until we get Devin White on campus next year. 250 lbs 10.8 100m at the State Championships.

If we're talking RB's this year it has to be Guice. Though I'm really looking forward to if we'll be able to get the ball into Donte Jackson's hands. He's the fastest player to play for LSU since Trindon Holliday. Just remains to be seen whether that track speed will convert to the field.
