This tells me 2019 bama was more talented and arguably much better than 2020 bama considering Smith, waddle, leatherwood, baramore, sustain, and Harris were all still huge contributors to 2019.

More talented? Defintely. Better? No. You need to factor in team chemistry and all of the other intangibles that go into it. For instance, 2010 Alabama had 11 future first-rounders on its roster - yet they lost three games. They should have won every single game based on talent alone. Why didn't they? Team chemistry and guys looking at their draft status rather than wanting to be part of the team.

Eh, you are assuming nobody really gets drafted off next years team.

But the big difference in the 2 years is QB play if you ask me.

ETA: Also LB play. 2019 was decimated at the position with injuries.

Or he could work for Saban and get Bama players cleared of gun and weed charges. Plenty of work there.

Nah, Bama paid him more than he ever would’ve made in the nfl. He’s too soft for the big leagues.

I think he can still be a good player in the league. He’s not going to come in as a starter, but I think the team that takes him tomorrow will have a solid player on their hands sooner than later.

I agree with this.

Deonte Brown is a LOT better football player that the no names going ahead of him at this point. Someone is going to get a good OLineman.

ACL was non-contact during a drill I believe. No idea about the meniscus

No I think his family took out a policy that if he dropped to a certain point by returning he would be compensated

You are making a ton of assumptions to come to this conclusion.

I’m guessing the PED suspension is a red flag. He’s a bit slow as a pulling guard and really anything that asks him to be nimble (with respect to the OG position). Probably questions about his ability to handle NFL interior pass rushers.
