I nominate the Wall of Champions at Ole Miss. I mean, how the hell can you guys have a "Walk of Champions" when you've never won a championship of any significance?

Yeah, the Walk of Chumpions has always gotten my vote. It is both hilarious and incredibly sad all at the same time. It's hard to hold both of those emotions together.

Saban statue is probably second. Putting up a statue of someone who is still at the school is a big head scratcher.

Agreed. We really should have four Saban statues...and be working on a pedestal for a fifth.

Yeah. I suppose you Gumps should revel in every moment of Saban's time there, because once he leaves, it'll be a long time for you to find success.

I think it's cool that once you pass thru the "Walk of Champions" gate there is nothing but empty space

Or you could just wait until he retires, knock down that ugly hunk of metal that you currently have, then spend all that money on one really nice statue like any classy school would do.

It will never happen like that but I somewhat agree. His statue is a hunk of shite that absolutely should be replaced. That shouldn't be the best we can do for the greatness college football coach in history.

except for the team that donated the walk of champions, because you know they were national champions.

you decide to make this shitty troll but did zero research.

You're welcome for the Tebow Melt while staying on topic.

OM fans are self-loathing. The hate from other teams is just icing on their cake.

In the fall of 1998, a "Walk of Champions" arch was erected on the east side of the The Grove, where the Rebel players begin their walk for every Saturday home game. The "Walk of Champions" arch was given to the University by the 1962 Rebel football team, which is the only squad in Ole Miss football history to finish a campaign with a perfect record (10-0). The 1962 team won the SEC title and was also named National Champion

And just shy of 20 years, 'NO NCS'.

Time to take it down as wishing doesn't achieve a NCS!!!

I agree. Not that it will happen, but you could always get yourself into a Joe Pa situation. But I didn't see that one coming either.

I also think we renamed our field after Spurrier way too fricking soon. Not that it isn't OK to do it, but I still think frick him for going to South Carolina. I think Foley wanted to do it as an olive branch before he left.
