That's a good point. I personally think that whatever is done needs to be uniform across all schools though. Some high schools in Texas do a GPA based on your actual number grade in the class.


i.e. if you get 100 in every class your "GPA" is 100 and if you get a 95 in every class your GPA is 95. Easier to sort out class ranking within that one school but comparing to a school that does the normal 4.0 makes it more difficult.
