Unless you're afraid of honest competition like UGA

Why on Earth would UGA be afraid of having AU in the East? Missouri has been a bigger thorn in our side recently, and we already play Auburn anyway.

Well, I knew there was some reason we kick your rear ends every year.

I have to agree with you bud. Last time Florida and Tennessee had good teams look what happened, UGA went through a bunch of coaches.Beating GT every year don't mean shite.GT has never had the talent to compete against UGA and you see them pounding their chest as if it's a great accomplishment.

It sounded to me like he was saying UGA is afraid to play in the west.

Cause that makes total sense

Well Auburn fans haven't slyly threatened to bolt to the Big 12 as LSU has

No. You just scream to get away from Alabama. And you have a worse record against Georgia. Maybe you should bolt to the Big 12?

I think we do pretty good against LSU, too.

We general hold our own versus the West. Short of the last two regular season Bama games we generally have dominated the Western Division. So no, we are not afraid of the West, if anything, playing Bama every year would have actually helped our program along.

Even when we have been down, one year I thought Arkansas was a sure loss until Chubb almost goes for 300 on them and we have a pig roast in Little Rock at that dump.

Went through a bunch of coaches at UGA before Richt? And I thought the AU fans were retarded in this thread. We had three coaches between 1980 and 2000 when he was hired. Dumbass.

Hell, Kirby is only our 7th HC since 1939 (77 years)...

Dont act like you paid attention to the SEC before 2012 and know anything about the history of the conference.

Auburns used to play Bama, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida annually. Those are historically our biggest rivals in the SEC.

Even being in the West and playing Ole Miss and LSU every year for the last 25 years, we've still only played LSU 50 times ever and Ole Miss 40 times ever. They mean nothing to us.

By comparison we've played Georgia almost 120 times. We've still played Tennessee and Florida more times than everybody in the West beside Bama and Mississippi State.

Not only do we fit better with the East teams historically, but we're actually further East geographically than Mizzou and Vandy.

The only reason you care as a Mizzou fan is because you know that going through the annual meat grinder of the SEC West that Mizzou would take the place of the Mississippi schools at the bottom of the division.
