DSOR: UGA Benefits From Position in Weaker Division

By the time Auburn plays UGA in November, we've finished the grind of the SECw with the exception of Bama plus at least 1 additional P5 opponent? Who has UGA played? Vandy? Kentucky? Tenn has been irrelevant for a decade while UF has been inconsistent at best.
Mark Richt was a benificary of right time, right place and still wasn't able to capitalize on it beyond beating Auburn & Ga Tech. Maybe Smart will better who knows . However, no one can argue that a fresh Auburn wouldn't add more competitive balance to the division

I wish AU would move to the East and play UGA earlier in the season.

Are you western guys ever going to get over riding Bamas coat tails. Other than the rise up every 4 or 5 years, what have any of the other 6 accomplished.
The fact is UT seems to be in the rise and UGA and UF have a lot of energy and should be in contention for the foreseeable future.
OM is a flash in the pan, and their run is just about ; wasn't really a run anyway they never won anything.
Tex am seems to be flailing, Arkansas will never be better than 3-4 in the west any given year.
MSU is trending back down.
LSU and Auburn will always have their years. So we are in a situation we have been in for the life of the conference.
Bama, Au, LSU and UGA, UT, UF.
That's why it's the big 6. And it's not going to change.

What? You didn't know? Football didn't start until at least 2004-ish.

So it seems like the only reason to realign would be to make Auburn fans happy

I'm sure Mizzou would be a better fit in the SECw. Unless you're afraid of honest competition like UGA

AU fans have officially passed LSU fans for bitching about the divisions/opponents.

Lol...it's ebbs and flows. There has been periods where the East was better.
I'm not sure, in a thread where you are whining about your schedule being too hard that you should question anyone else about being afraid of competition....
Auburn fans want to move to the East because they think it will be easier. Plain and simple.

Stealing a page out of the LSU book I see

Well Auburn fans haven't slyly threatened to bolt to the Big 12 as LSU has
