If you have ever considered kayaking, go up 71 and take a small detour to the Cossatot if it has rained lately. You will change your mind about the gentle terrain. Don't attempt it unless you know what you are doing.
LOL. You should see the Mulberry right now, no thanks, lol.

im sure you can figure that out. haha.
I would assume Tevin Horton because I know he is supposed to be up here for it.
Or it could be Kaleb Blanchard because I believe you said you were from Baton Rouge, correct?

Easiest will be to hit 167 up to ElDorado, then heads up thru Hampton and Fordyce.

neither one of those guys. i am from baton rouge, but this kid is not from baton rouge. he is a tight end if that helps you out any.

Is he a 5.7 three star?

Just a small detour takes you to the boyhood home of future Heisman winner Tyler Wilson

Why bother? Just a little further north and you could take the kid where the best in receiving has shown a preference.

Hmmm so that rules out Bridgewater. I can't imagine DeSean Smith or Standish Dobbard are coming all the way up here when both have LSU offers.
My best guesses then would be Deondre Skinner or John David Moore.

I'm assuming you are dinging me on Deondre Skinner.
He came up to Fayetteville last summer I believe didn't he?

From NO/BR I found it easiest to shoot up to Jackson, take I-20 to Tallulah, and then go up 65 through McGee, Dumas and Pine Bluff, onto LR.
Is this a joke? Texarkana or bust

Nice. I would definitely like to land him. He reminds me a lot of Chris Gragg because he plays the split out receiver role in high school as well as TE. Looks to be further along blocking wise already than Gragg was though so thats a plus. Gragg had a similar frame as Skinner coming out of high school and the coaches have turned him in to one of the best TE's in the SEC if not the country next year.
I imagine they will share all that with him themselves though.

If you're coming from Lafayette, 49-167 is faster. It'll take you about 5:30-6 hours to get to Little Rock.

To add to that, if you are going to go all the way to Shreveport, it would be really silly to backtrack over to Little Rock on I-30.
That has to add a couple of hours to the trip.
71 through western Ark isn't freeway, and it can be curvy, but its not so bad that you would want to drive another couple of hours to bypass it.
Until you get almost to DeQueen its flat and easy.
After you get past Mansfield, it turns into four-lane, all the way to I-540.
