If I recall tyrann made dre quit in the LSU win in Tuscaloosa

I don't think dre has recovered from that hit on the special teams play

Why are these stupid fricking threads not axed by a mod? LSU - it's baseball season. That's the only sport you guys are good at, stop talking about CFB, kids.

ETA: Oh, it's from a Saints fan and I'm noticing the time he posted this. He was drunk and emo'ing about the average 5'9" receiver they traded up for in the 1st.
Making sense now...

U sure that was his last game? I think that game was in the Superdome and not at LSU

"At LSU" is colloquial for "as a member of the LSU team" kinda like saying "T.J. Yeldon is a player at Alabama". I didn't think I would have to specify something like that, but then again you started your sentence with the letter "U".

The minor concussion from hitting his head on the turf probably didn't help.

I love players sustaining head injuries! It's hilarious!

So I take it you were against the Saban rule.

Me too.

One of the most overrated players I have seen. Average at best and beaten deep again and again. Never understood the hype surrounding him. Not surprised he is a "bust."

And someone posted this as a "defense?"

Oh look, Dre posing swag once again after landing one of his famous glancing blows, only to leave it to someone else to actually play football and make the tackle.

We have had a shite ton of better DBs.

Dre Kirk always reminded me of a linebacker playing corner

I can't think of many better corners Bama has had under Saban. I'd take Swag back in a heartbeat compared to what we're working with now.

You mean a linebacker that didn't tackle?

Our defense has an identity of hard hitting bad/mad mofos who know how to tackle and love to lay the wood.

I didn't so see much of that out of Dre. He might have been good at other things. But compare him to, say, Marc Barron . . or even Vinnie in this regard. I know, different positions. But I grew weary of watching others clean up his tackles while he struck a pose.

You mean the guy who became a starter toward the end of the season and had 3 picks in the last five games, returning one for a TD? The guys whose coaches continue to talk about how great he is going to be? Yeah he sucks, even though he hasn't even played out his rookie contract.

Anyway if all our players are so overrated and bust thenSaban must truly be the best coach ever.
