I'm meeting some college friends in Nashville for our game in a few weeks. They already have tickets in the upper half of Section A (visitor section?) for $60/each face value, since I committed late.

Should I wait until gameday to just get the single cheapest ticket I can find to get in the stadium? Would I easily be able to make my way up and sit with them if I do that?

What's the best website to keep an eye on for tickets up for sale for your home games?

TIA for any help. Looking forward to my first ever trip to Nashville.

ETA: What's the tailgating scene like there? I've heard mixed stories/opinions. Is there a tailgate scene or is pre-game mostly done at the bars? Which area of bars?

A is actually on the home side. T, U, and V are the designated visitor sections. However, our pitiful attendance means A usually becomes visitor heavy. If they're in the top half, you should definitely be able to sit with them. A is the last to fill in normally.

As for websites, Stub Hub is your best bet, I would guess.

And of course, enjoy Nashville. Hopefully, the game is less fun for you than the city.

I can almost guarantee top of the A section will not be full, unless it has a decent amount of TAM fans. Vandy home attendance has not been great this year even for home games.

StubHub is good. SeatGeek has good prices every now and then.

You'll have no trouble finding a ticket and sitting with your friends in Sec A. Craigslist will be your friend on game day, especially if the weather is bad.

Thanks. I assumed and was hoping to hear that. StubHub will probably be easier since it's mobile and I wouldn't have to meet someone somewhere for a transaction. I'd spend a little more for a ticket that's still under face value for the mobile ticketing convenience.

Fingers crossed the weather will be nice.
