Im not sold on Dooley either, but I think his passion on gameday is a good attribute.

His recruiting leaves a little to be desired

Tend to agree, but I don't think we can judge that at the moment. Wait until after signing day and probably after another year or so when he doesn't have to focus so much on certain positions.

Evaluate Chiz and Dooley at the end of next year and get back to me

shirley, you don't believe Dooley is a better coach than Chiz?? Not even close...what has Dooley done anywhere, other than being an assistant to Saban? Is that what you're going by, because it's not on win/loss or program building...

Dooley's job at La Tech was considerably better than Chizik's job at Iowa State. Not saying Dooley will be the guy to get UT to the title game, but Chizik has little to brag about outside this season.

Yeah, these anti Dooley threads seem to be misplaced. Roll back time and revisit the preseason expectations for UT and you will find that UT performed about as well or better than people expected.

Anyone who concludes Dooley is "in over his head" after this season is just trolling.

well, alrighty....so in other words, Chiz is not as good a coach as Dooley. Would Dooley be undefeated at Auburn right now??

Doubtful, but I'm not sure Auburn has a bright future ahead.

And as far as the bold, no, that's not what I was saying at all.

Probally if he had Cam and Gus. Chizik wouldnt be undefeated if he didn't buy Newton and have Gus

I don't think Harbaugh would be unbeaten at Auburn right now. Doesn't mean I wouldn't take him over Chizik 10 times out of 10.

Chizik isnt the reason Aubies undefeated, this season was made by the body of Cam mixed with the mind of Gus

Seems Dooley at Tennessee is in way above his head.

why? in the preseason all of you were saying UT would go 3-9, 4-8 or 5-7.

No, but it kind of hurts the argument that the team is a bunch of undisciplined convicts.
