Just because he is good by Arkansas standards doesn't make him good by SEC standards. The class yall call good last year was still last in the SEC in average player rankings and is sitting at 11th this year. If you can't keep up with the schools you are playing against it puts you at a big disadvantage.

Congrats on all those recruiting ranking victories! And on having the series lead over a team at the bottom of the SEC in those rankings.

You say it's no biggie we owned Chizik cause he's such a bad coach but your quick to ride that NC he won. Can't have it both ways.

If beating Chizik is something you think is a big accomplishment go ahead. No one else does. Gus's offense, Cam Newton, Nick Fairley, Michael Dyer, and other key talented players won the NC despite Chizik's coaching. John L Smith would have won the NC coaching that team. Its not both ways. Chizik won because Gus's offense. Its not a coincidence Chizik only won 8 games over 3 years without Gus and won atleast that every year with him.

If titles were won with recruiting rankings, Texas would have 70 national titles.

You just said Chizik was a bad coach. There you go again flop floppin around. Is he a great coach in which you just said is needed or is he a bad coach and it was a flook that y'all won. Cant have it both ways.

So what you're saying is that Malzahn coached the offense, defense, special teams and kickers, while Chizik sat in his office smoking cigars and stroking himself?

I ain't floppin crap. You are the only one in the World calling Chizik a good HC. His record shows he isn't. So how did he win a NC? Gus's offense and Cam. I don't get what you are trying to make yourself believe with that crap.

ETA:I take that back. Redeye think Chizik is a great HC too.

Yet again with your Auburn and Gus obsession. Every thread. Chizik didn't coach any of them so your point is stupid. You and Osqueal can believe Chizik is the greatest coach ever just because you think it make Arkansas look better but it doesn't. Auburn got rid of Chizik and hired Gus and jump 2 spots and over over Arkansas in West predictions. Must mean everyone else agrees with yall.

You're the one who called Chizik a great coach.

Nope. You are just obsessed with Auburn and think you are proving something by saying he is. Gus was a great coach that won the NC with his play calling.

I'm sure the same thing happened when Petrino and Chizik were hired, but only one of them was fired for being a bad coach (cue Rabern57 mentioning how Chizik won a national title and Petrino didn't.)

To be honest with you, I don't really have much interest in your situation with Gus. I don't hate him and I don't hate Auburn for hiring him. In fact, I view it as a unique opportunity for Arkansas to evaluate him. I'm mostly just ambivalent on him. I will note, however, that I don't think he's the coaching genius many think he is.

No, but the Auburn fan draft last season was lots of fun.
